Blog Post: The Skin I'm In

In the book The skin i'm in towards the end of the book she gets tease by these two boys walking down the street. Two boys started hassling her I guess she thought they liked her but it seem they didn't. For example in the text it says
     "hey, bean pole," one of them says.
"You mean, black bean," his friends says.
She didnt take it servous cause i know that she knows that those boys are dumb. And i think that's good because a lot of people take stuff servous. For example i can say something to one of my friends like "eww what are you wearing" and depending on the person they would of cry or just ignore me.

   The reason why i said that is because if she would of cryed they would of laugh at her more and she would of been embrassed. But now the boys continue following her and she getting scared if she would of said something before i can imagine what they will do now that they are following her. These boys don't care i say this becasue she said that here dad was a cop nd they didnt care. it makes me seem that they probably do this everyday. But toward the end they caught her and one boy was holding her and the other wanted a kiss. But she didn't let them she kept fighting and fighting till they got tired and they finally say good-bye. But the bad thing is that there still going to come after her.

Vacation homework: Commenting on Nai-robi

In the story that Nai-robi Cousar read Tears Of A Tiger by Sharon M. Draper Andrew Jackson , Robert Washington , Gerald Nickelby and B.J Carson. I really like how you broke down the story and explain what was going on because now it will make people to want to read the book and see what happen after if Andrew was going to kill him self or not.
   
     I think this book is a really good infulence on kids and adults. So that now they will know why they shouldn't be drinking while driving. Because it could lead to several accident. And now Andrew thinks it all his fault. I think it isn't his fought because he wasnt the one who told them to drink. I agree with you when you said that you agree with Andrew because i wouldnt know how to react even though it wasnt my fought. If i would of put myself into Andrews shoes. i would of freaked out i dont think i even would of help. ill probably just stare at him and cry and cry. And then feel guilty.

     I feel like you really enjoy this bookk because i think it is one of the best blog post you written so far because you show alot of details of the story and the way you re told the story it just makes people want to read the book. One example is me i really like books like this and have a lot of problems in it. Also the way you express how you feel about the story. I picked yours to write because i will like to read this book that you are reading. All the others ones I read they where good also but yours stand out the most.

       Good job Nai- robi you did good on this blog and i pretty sure it interested a lot of people including me.

Im wondering why does she let people tease her. why desnt she say anything about or even do something about it. But at the same time if i was in her shoes i will be scared to talk back to the person that teased me to. One because once she finds out how I live i won't even want to do anything go to school or even go around the block cause she will end up telling the whole school about my life.

   She saying that people tease her and if it is not about her skin color it must be about her clothes. Because her mom makes her clothes by hand. In the text she says that she borrows clothes from her friend Charlese. But when she put the clothes on she doesnt act the same, she acts like a whole different person. Her teachers even said that she's changing and they dont like it. They liked her before she started using her friemds clothes. I could get that she wnats better clothes then what she usually wears. But if you are going to wear someone elses clothes at least dont change. Because you could change your outside and how you look in the out side but once you change your personality then it gets worst then you thought it will be. Because you think that your friends might like you much better, and you will get more friends and maybe become popular. But your feel friends will like you for who you are they wont want you to change.

  I feel that she shouldn't change her personality she should stay the same.

I feel like even though Miss Saunder is all rich and everything. She doesn't  let that get to her.For example I feel like shes doesnt say " students get to your seats right now" and showsoff her jeweleryand clothes. i feel like she knows what they go through. She must say its pretty obvious. Becasue a lot of them get abused or go through rough times at home so there edvince that they got beat becasue of the marks on there arms, legs everywhere. Also maybe there attidude shows it when children grw up with parents that dont even care what they do all they like oding is beating there child and being with there boyfriend they treat there children like there trash. And the children end up doing something bad outside of school and bring it up when it comes to school. I wonder why that happens to them.

     Also one thing that i wanted to talk about is Miss Saunders reactions. In the text it says " Miss Saunders stares down at hm till her turns his head away and starts playing with his buttoms on his shirt like some two year old." That makes me think because a teacher like her all rich ams has the nice clothes and stuff doesnt mean that she will look at you like you have some kind of problem.But Miss Saunder is not like that she didnt look at the little boy lik ehe was crazy and needs help. Miss Saunder isnt like that she isnt one of those teacherss that scream at just because your weird or they dont like you because you dont do your work. Shes not one of those people that only like the smart people that do there work  and that participate all the time.

  I think Miss Saunder is a good teacher.

The Skin I'm In

 When i was reading the whole time i was thinking to my self why does she want to fit in with all the other students.

 I don't think she should wan't to fit in because there is no reason to fit in. Why doesn't she just be herself, what's wrong being yourself. For example in the text it says " Well I spend a lot of times trying to fit in here at McClenton Middle School."


   I think she trying to fit in so she could become popular and no one will know what's going on in her life. When she's describing her teacher Miss Saunders she said " she's wearing a dark purple suit, and a starched white hsirt with matching purple buttons. That outfit costs three hundred dollars easy. I feel like she trying to say well that's easy for her to buy i wish it was that easy for me to buy. Like i wish i had all that money that she has. I another stand what shes saying i just think that she should be happy for what she has. i another stand that she will like a lot of money and a lot of clothes that she can wear. Because if i was her i already know for a fact that i will want some money. She probably when she walks around i bet she says i wish i had this or i wish i had that. To be honest even though i live in a house and i have money i still say the same thing i wish i lived in that house, or why couldn't i get that for my birthday. But i think she should be happy for what she has which is a mother thats there for her. Because  a lot of people life is much worst then hers right now.

BANGG!

I am reading the book BANG!. i just started reading it and i notice that person is going through i really tough time. Because his brother died and his brother was only seven years old. Jason died, i think this is going to be really hard for him for the rest off his life because i know he wanted to see his brother grow up and i know that he would want to spend more time with his brother. But he didn't have that time since he died. In the text it says " But i can't stop thinking about him. And i can't walk in the house through the front door no more because of the blood". Even though his mother is telling him that there nothing there he pictures it. If i would of put myself in his shoes i think i will of probably kill myself to because just seeing the blood there of my own brother my young brother the only one i have just laying there that will be so heart broken to me i won't even be able to talk to anyone

    I think him living in a bad neighborhood isn't a good thing. Because now that, that happen he won't even want to do anything. Once he remembers about his brother death and sees something going on he might change. For example i mean he seems like a good kid to be living in the neighborhood that he is living in now. And now that his brother died he might take  out all his angry and sadness out on someone and will end up killing a person that just gets on his nerves. And on top of that it seems like his father is telling him not to be a baby. he shouldn't cry because baby's cry not grown up people. i don't think that's fair because everyone has to cry even his father cried at least once. 

Freak The Mighty

What details did you notice?
   I notice that in the beginning of the book Max was a quiet person but very tall and it seems like he was not shy when it comes to certain things. For example when Tony D was bullying Max i figure that Max will go up to him and tell him to stop bullying him or even bully him back but that's  not how it works.

    Then Freak came along and that's when i saw the change in Max and how he started opening up and becoming an more out going person. I also notice that i didn't now when i first read the book is how Freak change also he didn't give up just  because he is in a wheel chair. He pushed himself harder and harder each day like in the story where he was trying to get something he didn't ask no one for help he kept reaching and reaching. But then Max saw him since he live across from him and he came and help him but if Max didn't see him or go and help him i think he would have done it himself without Max's help. But since Max was there he help him and i think that was nice of him to do.
